SAVE CONGO MAGAZINE: At the Heart of Humanitarian Action and Development in the Democratic Republic of the Congo
Since 2017 SAVE CONGO has established a magazine entitled "SAVE CONGO MAGAZINE" to facilitate communication on humanitarian and development actions in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This bi-monthly publication is produced in both French and English in order to strengthen information-sharing, enhance the visibility of humanitarian interventions and promote coordination among stakeholders involved in providing assistance to vulnerable populations across the country.
SAVE CONGO MAGAZINE serves as an information and advocacy platform highlighting initiatives, achievements, challenges and perspectives in the sectors of Protection, Health, Food Security, Non-Food Items (NFIs), Shelter, Logistics, and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). Through analytical articles, field reports, interviews, testimonies and humanitarian updates, the magazine provides reliable and relevant information on humanitarian responses, development efforts implemented in communities affected by crises and socio-economic vulnerabilities and highlights local initiatives and community-based approaches that contribute to resilience-building and sustainable recovery.
The magazine is distributed to humanitarian actors, United Nations agencies, technical and financial partners, national and provincial authorities, local population and decision-makers, community leaders and beneficiaries of our programmes. It contributes to promoting humanitarian principles, accountability to affected populations and community engagement, while encouraging collaboration and knowledge-sharing among humanitarian and development stakeholders.
Contributions generated through monthly or annual subscription to SAVE CONGO MAGAZINE directly support assistance efforts for vulnerable populations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. By subscribing to the magazine, readers and partners not only gain access to valuable humanitarian information and field experiences, but also actively contribute to solidarity and sustainable humanitarian and development actions across the country.
