To strengthen the operational readiness and technical expertise of humanitarian and development actors, SAVE CONGO delivers a 45-day online training programme in the Health sector through its " Humanitarian School ", offered in five languages (French, English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Arabic). The programme leads to an internationally recognized certification and is facilitated by university professors and experienced field practitioners, including experts affiliated with the World Health Organization (WHO).

The training is designed to provide participants with comprehensive competencies in public health emergency response, combining theoretical knowledge with practical applications. It begins with public health in emergencies, focusing on preparedness, coordination, and rapid response mechanisms in crisis settings. Participants are equipped with essential tools in disease surveillance and outbreak response, including early warning systems, reporting protocols, and containment strategies for epidemic-prone diseases.

A strong emphasis is placed on clinical case management, particularly for priority diseases such as cholera, measles, and Ebola, ensuring alignment with international standards and guidelines. The programme also integrates mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) as a critical component of holistic health interventions, addressing the needs of affected populations.

In addition, the course develops participants' capacity in health information systems (HIS), strengthening skills in data collection, analysis, and evidence-based decision-making. The coordination of Emergency Medical Teams (EMTs) is also covered, with a focus on effective deployment, interoperability, and field coordination.

Accessible and practice-oriented, the training is offered at a registration fee of USD 25, ensuring broad participation. Upon successful registration, participants receive a secure access link to the online learning platform.
