As part of its strategic commitment to strengthening professional capacities in humanitarian action, SAVE CONGO offers a 45-day online training programme in the Protection sector through its " Humanitarian School ", delivered in five languages (French, English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Arabic). The programme leads to an internationally recognized certification and is facilitated by senior academics and field practitioners, including experts affiliated with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

The training is designed to enhance participants' ability to apply protection standards and frameworks in complex humanitarian environments. It provides a rigorous foundation in protection principles and their systematic mainstreaming across programmes, ensuring that humanitarian interventions uphold dignity, safety, and rights.

Participants develop advanced competencies in case management for individuals at heightened risk, including survivors of violence, displaced populations, and other vulnerable groups. The programme places particular emphasis on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) prevention and response, promoting survivor-centered approaches and adherence to internationally recognized guidelines.

The curriculum further addresses child protection programming, in coordination with global standards often developed alongside the United Nations Children's Fund, with a focus on prevention, response, and safeguarding mechanisms in emergencies. In parallel, participants are introduced to key international legal frameworks, including refugee law and international human rights law, strengthening their capacity to operate within established normative and legal standards.

In addition, the training builds technical skills in protection monitoring, analysis, and reporting, supporting evidence-based programming, advocacy, and accountability.

Structured to be accessible, practice-oriented, and aligned with international standards, the programme is offered at a registration fee of USD 25. Upon confirmation of enrolment, participants receive a secure access link to the online learning platform.
