As part of its institutional commitment to advancing professional standards in humanitarian response, SAVE CONGO provides a 45-day online training programme in the Nutrition sector through its " Humanitarian School ", delivered in five languages - French, English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Arabic. The programme culminates in an internationally recognized certification and is delivered by qualified academic instructors and experienced field practitioners, including experts affiliated with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

The training aims to strengthen participants' capacity to design, implement, and monitor nutrition interventions in accordance with internationally recognized frameworks and guidelines. It offers comprehensive coverage of the Community-Based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM), equipping participants with the technical knowledge required for early identification, referral, and treatment of acute malnutrition within both community and health facility settings.

The curriculum also emphasizes Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) practices, focusing on safeguarding optimal feeding during the most critical stages of child development, particularly in emergency contexts. In parallel, participants gain practical insights into micronutrient supplementation programmes, aimed at addressing deficiencies and improving population-level nutritional outcomes.

The programme further develops expertise in nutrition surveillance and screening systems, including the use of MUAC measurements and SMART survey methodologies, enabling participants to generate and interpret data for evidence-based programming. Emphasis is also placed on integrated programming, highlighting the critical linkages between nutrition, health, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) interventions.

Structured to ensure accessibility, technical rigor, and practical relevance, the training is offered at a registration fee of USD 25. Upon confirmation of enrolment, participants receive a secure access link to the online learning platform.
